STORAGE is an important link in ensuring continuous supply of food and other agricultural produce for the consumers, and strengthening the economy as a whole. Storage problems have therefore remained a priority area. Long-term grain storage requires a good management. Some grain can be stored for many months or even more than a year due to pricing policy, so maintaining grain quality during extended storage requires extra care and management.

Storage Conditions
Grain must be kept at an optimal temperature and moisture level during storage, which requires proper management of the aeration system to prevent mold growth.

Temperature Check
Proper aeration enables good temperature control; however, the seasons and weather still have a significant effect on the contents.

Regular Grain Monitoring
Your grains are only as good as the condition you keep them. We check them regulary, including checking the grain temperature, collecting a sample to test the moisture content, looking for a crust and smell. Check the grain at least every two weeks until it has been cooled for winter storage and every two to four weeks during the winter.
